About the LWSFL
MINIMUM ADMIN MAXIMUM FOOTBALL
The London Women’s Saturday Football League’s ethos is to encourage as many teams and players to play football without Administration or further financial pressures.
Formed in 2017 the LWSFL is a competitive 11-a-side football league spanning five divisions. Teams from across London participate in matches every other Saturday at either Hackney Marshes and Clapham Common with minimal administration required by clubs, coaches and players.
WHAT DOES THE LWSFL OFFER?
LWSFL releases all fixtures at the beginning of the season so that you can effectively prepare for all any opposition. We ensure there are no kit clashes and also provide high quality referees so you can focus on the football.
Fixture Management
We do not require teams to register players, pay fines (other than bookings) or pay any additional fees. All you have to do is turn up and enjoy the match.
Minimal Admin
The pitches on Hackney Marshes, Victoria Park and Clapham Common are used for the season. An alternative venue is booked for each of the League Cup finals.
Pitches and Equipment
At the end of each season the achievements of the top teams and individual performers are rewarded with the most coveted trophies across London!
